Participation in the Conference "Soviet ‘I’ and Soviet ‘We’ Between Ideology and Reality"

Assistant chair of the CityFace project Yevhen Rachkov delivered a paper and presented the project at the international scientific conference "Soviet ‘I’ and Soviet ‘We’ Between Ideology and Reality," held online on 24-26 June 2021.
His report "‘The Sun will be Over Our City‘: Festive Traditions of Kharkiv in the Late Soviet Period" was about the evolution of the Soviet festive canon during the 1960s to 1980s.
The main organizers of the conference were the National University of "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy", Canadian Institute of Ukrainian Studies, and historical web portal Historians.in.ua.
