Conference "AB URBE CONDITA: Urban Space of Southern Ukraine in the Last Quarter of the 18th - First Half of the 20th Century"

The conference was held within the Days of Hospitality in Zaporizhia. Prof. Sergiy Posokhov delivered a talk on "Problems of defining" local heroes" (based on the Kharkiv guides of the second half of the XIX - early XX centuries)." In turn, dr. Yevhen Rachkov spoke about "Using the Database Technology in the Study of Urban History."

The conference was organized by Zaporizhzhia City Council, Yakov Novytsky Zaporizhzhia Scientific Society, Zaporizhzhia Regional Museum of Local History, Contemporary Ukraine Studies Program of the Canadian Institute of Ukrainian Studies at the University of Alberta, Research Institute of Historical Urbanism and the project CityFace.
