14th Source-Study Symposium “The Coat of Arms in Culture” (to the 100th anniversary of Poland’s independence)

On 25-26 October 2018, the 14th Source-Study Symposium “The Coat of Arms in Culture” was held in the town of Kazimierz Dolny (Poland) to mark the 100th anniversary of Poland’s independence.
Organizers of Project CityFace attended the event. Professor Serhiy Posokhov delivered a paper on “Kharkiv’s Territorial Heraldry: Traditions and Innovations.” Yevhen Rachkov spoke on the genesis of the symbolic space of Ukrainian universities. Roman Liubavsky’s paper analyzed the symbols and emblems of industrial enterprises and workers’ organizations in the Ukrainian SSR in the 1920s and 1930s.
